SMC insulation board is a plate-shaped product of various colors formed by compression molding unsaturated polyester glass fiber reinforced sheet molding material. It is the shrinkage of sheet molding compound, that is, sheet molding compound. The main raw materials consist of GF (special yarn), UP (unsaturated resin), low shrinkage additives, MD (filler), and various additives.
SMC insulation board has high mechanical strength, flame retardancy, and leakage resistance, second only to UPM203. It has high arc resistance, dielectric strength, and voltage resistance, low water absorption, stable size, and low warpage. The product is mainly used for various insulation partitions of high, medium, and low voltage switchgear.
